Coach Matt
Matt started wrestling in high school and has been in love with being in shape and being active ever since. After high school, Matt started coaching wrestling and discovered that he loved coaching, but also missed competing. After coaching wrestling for one season, Matt started doing mixed martial arts and trying to take his fitness to the next level. After a few fights and graduating from the University of Oklahoma. Matt got a last minute opportunity to fight for a belt in one of the top amateur promotions in the world called Tuff N Uff. Matt was able to drop 12 pounds in 12 hours to make weight and compete. Matt won and this victory solidified his passion for the sport and further nurtured his love for the process. Matt understood that hard work and preparation are what led to this moment and while not everyone has the same goals as he does Matt knew that teaching other people the value of physical preparation can give people the confidence to do things that they didn’t think were possible. Matt got his certification for personal training under the National Academy of Sports medicine as a personal trainer and is an active Mixed Martial Arts athlete. Matt hopes to give people what they need in order to be healthy while feel confident and happy.
